Chain Mesh Aprons

CHAIN MESH APRONS
  • Highly flexible chain mesh aprons will provide absolute protection against stabs in the chest, abdominal and upper thigh areas.
  • Specially designed fittings combined with supports provide a comfortable, yet secure fit.

  • Aprons manufactured from aluminium plates offer an economical and lightweight alternative.
  • Generally, the 600 mm long apron is used by persons shorter than 165 cm, and the 750 mm long apron by those taller than 165 cm.
  • Replacement straps are available in a variety of types to suit preferences and budgets. (see below)

ADVANCED PROTECTION

The industry trend is towards more complete protection, especially in high-risk task areas.

Even a full bolero-type apron costs a lot less than one very minor incident.

REPAIR SERVICE

We repair all brands of chain gloves and aprons.

Chain mesh articles often wear only at a stress point (eg, with mesh gloves, between the fingers when using a boning hook) and repairs are excellent value.

If the costs of repairing a glove or apron exceeds 50% of the cost of an equivalent new item, we will contact you to discuss the matter before proceeding with a repair.
