To specify a blade correctly we need:
1. Length in mm or inches
2. Width - usually in 1/2”, 5/8”, or 3/4”
3. Teeth per inch (t.p.i.) - usually 3,4 or 6 t.p.i.

Alternatively, send us an old blade or the box in which they were supplied.

The most important factor for choosing the t.p.i. (teeth per inch) of a bandsaw is the speed at which the saw runs.

High speed saws, running at 4000 feet per minute or more (>1300m/min), should be equipped with 3 t.p.i. blades.

For slower running saws, and especially on smaller cuts of meat, a cleaner cut may be obtained with a 4 t.p.i. blade.
